We have now taken our CCTV drain inspection and repair service to a new level with camera software that enables live streaming and instant reporting to the customer whilst our engineers are on site.
Our engineers can visit a site and, using a built-in survey reporting platform called Mina survey which is supplied by Scanprobe Limited, we can stream live video directly to our customers phones or tablets. This allows us to explain details face-to-face with our customers whilst on site.
The live streaming functionality enables our engineers the opportunity to show a customer a live image from inside their pipework without them having to be in the work area! For customers who are not aware of how their drainage system works, being able to provide video or still images to their phone or tablet on the spot removes any confusion about exactly what the issues are.
Once we have carried out the CCTV drainage survey, the new software allows us to produce a full survey report within minutes which can be sent to the office remotely whilst the survey crew are still on site, allowing recommendations to be added and then shared with the customer straight away. In the past a CCTV report could take between 2-3 days to process and get back to the customer, but because our engineers now have the cutting edge mina technology, the report is produced on the same day, meaning our customers are able to see the issues to be addressed and instruct on the work to be undertaken within minutes.
The mina drain surveying software also has a built-in drawing package, meaning drawings can be sent to the customer to help explain the layout of the drainage system and showing the precise location of the required repairs.
